General Polling of Society logo design

The Society has considered the opinions on the Society Logo design from Members. Many of Members prefer design 1 (55 Members excluding the members of Society Logo Team), therefore the Society decides to use design 1 as the motion to be voted for General Polling of the logo of Pharmacy Society, MS, HKUSU. However, there are comments received from Members that design 1 still may not be up to their expectations and they just chose design 1 as the best one among the five designs. It is reminded that the Society logo will be used to represent the Society in long-term which will be used in administrative documents, promotional materials and products of the Society. Therefore, we hope that all Members will take part in the General Polling to finalize the logo. You can vote for or against design 1. The details of the General Polling are shown below:

Date: 26th April 2012 (Thursday)
Time: 1130-1400
Venue: Lobby of William M.W. Mong Block
Quorum: Not less than 50% of Members shall form a quorum of a General Polling.

Launch of Society Paper

The Society Paper has been launched in mid-March! There is a considerable number of orders received.

 The design is based on the theme of capsule,which is a symbol of drugs and pharmacy. Also, capsule is  a part of Promineo’s logo.
The Society Paper aims to unite Members and raise the spirit among them. In addition, it can be served as a promotion for Pharmacy Society.
Each pack (100 sheets) is sold at $9 exclusively for Members.

Curriculum Evaluation Forum

The Society is going to organise a series of Curriculum Evaluation Forums. The forums aim at providing a platform through which the class representatives could collect the opinions on the courses of the current semester from the Members.

Superpass Gathering

Apart from traditional activities of HKU such as roast pig chopping and writing superpass fai chun, Members can participate in exciting mass games and lucky draw after a relaxing lunch. Notice of Campaign Meeting and Annual Election

Details of Campaign Meeting and Annual Election for Committee of Session 2012 of Pharmacy Society, MS, HKUSU

Campaign Meeting

Date and Time: 16th November, 2011 (1900-2300)
17th November, 2011 (1930-2300)
18th November, 2011 (start at 2000)
Venue: Medical Society Office Common Area
Note: The Election Board has the right to change the date, time and venue of the Campaign Meeting for practical reasons provided that it is not contradictory to the Constitution of the Pharmacy Society, MS, HKUSU.

Annual Election

Date: 22th November, 2011
Time: 1100-1415
Venue: Lobby of William M.W. Mong Block
Quorum: Not less than 50% of Members shall form a quorum of an Annual Election.
Regulations: Please refer to the Constitution of the Pharmacy Society, MS, HKUSU Section VII, Article 6
Counting of Votes The vote box will be sealed up at the end of the election time. Counting of votes will start at 1800  in Medical Society Office Common Area on the same day (22th November, 2011) with the presence of the Election Board and Returning Officer. All Members are allowed to be present.

 

Dispute
a)          Complaints or appeals about the Annual Election shall be made and submitted to Medical Students’ Council within 72 hours after the closure of the voting.
b)          All complaints and appeals shall be supported by evidence and duly signed.
c)          In case of complaints, Medical Students’ Council shall convene a Council Meeting to adjudicate it.
d)         The adjudication shall be announced within 7 days after the closure of the voting.
e)          No official announcement shall be made until all complaints have been resolved.
